Farmhouse COLLODI in Montalcino in panoramic position
The Farmhouse Collodi was made renovating a portion
of an old farmhouse built in the first half of the 800 along with two agricultural buildings of more recent time.
The complex is surrounded by wheat fields, meadows, olive groves and vineyards which give, together with a lovely garden with a large swimming pool with salt water, an immediate feeling of freedom and prosperity among the beauty of the Tuscan countryside.
The property is situated in a panoramic position of particular value in the hills around Montalcino, famous worldwide for the production of the very fine wine Brunello.
The old village, located at less than 15 minutes by car, maintains its medieval structure, with the powerful Medici fortress, the ancient walls and the center with its historic buildings, the innumerable churches and little streets.
All immersed in an uncontaminated area, part of the Natural and Cultural Park of Val d'Orcia, characterized by a dense forest cover, interspersed with traditional vineyards and olive trees, which called for hiking in nature and flavours.
